About the adventure

As the expedition struggles to rebuild, they discover that the secrets they discover should have been kept sealed away. ▶️Journey to the World's Core is a Lovecraftian Horror adventure set in a Rome-like setting, with an ensemble cast, and character-driven story. Your character will be part of the security team, set to dive into unnatural ruins, defending against rival factions, and uncovering those who lie beneath the ground. We have a story-driven table, where roleplaying and creative solutions are encouraged. We have an LGBTQ+ friendly and wholesomely inclusive table.

How to prepare

You should have a webcam and mic, and you don't actually need to know Worlds Without Numbers ahead of time. I will provide the free Player's Handbook and Character Sheets.

What I provide

I have the Free-to-Share Player's Handbooks which I will distribute in Session 0. I also share country maps and world maps. Battlemaps will be managed through Owlbear Rodeo. I also manage audio and ambience through Monument Studios. If there's any other features you'd like to see in the game, let me know and I'm happy to check it out!

Gameplay details

Worlds Without Number has fast combat, with diverse environments and scenarios. Many of the amazing tools comes from the Major Projects section which allows characters to do things from building a church, to founding a bandit gang, to creating a kingdom; as well as the tools and resources to do that. But watch out! Other factions have resources and tools as well, and they might help you or hinder you. This adds a strategy layer to tabletop, and lets you build the future of the world where you play.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created at the end of Session 0. We want to create motivations and connections between the characters at the beginning of the game, so we can have extra motivation and RP moments. Due to the location, nonhumans may face discrimination.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
