About the adventure

The premiere game show where you answer riddles, fight monsters, and win fabulous prizes! My name is Venus, and I’ll be your host for today’s show. Let’s give a warm welcome to our contestants! Why don’t you introduce yourselves, contestants?” The players hear the tale of a sphinx guarding treasure, and follow a path through the woods to find the sphinx running a fun and (sometimes) deadly game show! Made to teach new players how to play D&D. A little bit of roleplaying, a little bit of riddles (a lot of riddles), and a little bit of combat to round out the experience.

How to prepare

Required: - Headphones - Working Microphone - Headphone or computer mic acceptable as long as the audio quality is decent. - Discord account - DiceCloud Version 1 account: https://v1.dicecloud.com/ - Character sheet ready before the play session. I have Dicecloud templates available and can help convert characters if needed. Optional: - Webcam - Dice

Gameplay details

Absolutely no bullying, sexual harassment, racism, hate speech, queerphobia, or prejudice will be tolerated. Any player that engages in these behaviors will get one (1) warning, and if the behavior continues you will be kicked from the game and you will not receive a refund. There will be a mandatory 10 minute break halfway through the session for bathroom, refilling drinks, snacks, etc. but always feel free to ask for a break at any time. This is mainly to teach players the mechanics of D&D while having a wacky riddle solving time, so there should be very little triggering content. I'll be providing an optional feedback poll at the end of the adventure.

How will character creation work

Character Creation: - Before Session Date - Character Sheets in DiceCloud Version 1: https://v1.dicecloud.com/ - Standard Array (8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15), or 4d6 Keep Highest 3 for stats. - Starting Level: 3rd LVL I have Level 1 DiceCloud templates available and can help convert characters if needed.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
