About the adventure

Twenty years ago, the small mining town of Coal Fell was attacked by a dragon. Having no other choice, it's peaceful inhabitants fled in order to save their own lives. Now, headed by a survivor of the attack, a caravan is traveling back to Coal Fell, to slay the dragon and reclaim their homes. You will play as a member of this caravan, keeping it safe during its travels and preparing to face the draconic threat at the end of the journey.

How to prepare

Players should have a working microphone, as well as a discord account to use for voice chat and messaging during the game. Dice rolling will be done either through discord or Foundry VTT, so players will not need to provide their own. Before character creation, players should be somewhat familiar with PF2e's character creation rules in order to allow that part of session 0 to occur quickly.

What I provide

I will be providing VTT software, a discord server to use for both in and out of game communications, and I will be doing my utmost to provide a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all.

Gameplay details

Safety Tools Potentially sensitive topics will be covered during the session 0, starting with what I as a DM am and am not comfortable with having in my games. If players aren't comfortable sharing with the entire group topics that may distress them, they are encouraged to message me directly to ensure everyone's safety. X, N, and O cards will be handled via messages, with players either able to send them to the whole group, or to just me, for the same reason as stated above. Session Breakdown A typical session will involve a single combat encounter, but this is far from an inflexible rule and will often change depending on the needs of the narrative. The remainder of the session time will be occupied largely by role-play, with characters engaging with NPCs, taking quests, and advancing the main plot.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created at level one, as part of session 0. Character sheets can be stored via Foundry VTT, Pathbuilder, or PDF/physical copy. I will always do my best to be reachable before and after sessions to answer any character creation or leveling up related questions.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
