Ork Borg Oneshot

About the adventure

You are an ork on the Derelict, a bunch of cursed ships latched together to make an even bigger cursed ship, and hurtling through the vastness of space searching for the most glorious end to your pathetic life - a collision course with heaven. Along the way you do your best to accelerate the apocalypse, by fighting, yelling, scheming and partying. Will you earn your place in heaven, or die trying? Ever wanted to be an ork in space? Ork Borg is your dream come true. It's a rules light game based on the Mörk Borg system, and in this oneshot we'll be leaning more towards the wacky and over the top aspects instead of the bleak and harsher side. If that interests you, jump on board for a ride that's out of this world!

How to prepare

Players will need a free Roll20 account and will be given access to the game ahead of time if they wish to look over the material and character info. A Discord account and a mic are also required for play. Buying the book is not necessary, but if interested you can find info about it here: https://rowanrookanddecard.com/product/orc-borg/

What I provide

I provide the game platform(roll20) for play, character sheets, music, and maps/atmosphere. All you need is a stable internet and the zeal to throw yourself straight at the apocalypse.

Gameplay details

Mörk Borg is a pitch-black apocalyptic fantasy RPG about lost souls and fools seeking redemption, forgiveness or the last remaining riches in a bleak and dying world. It is dark and cruel, and your character will probably die before it's all over. Ork Borg is much the same, but in space! Lines and veils will be gone over before the start. Permanent lines are in place for all of my games, so please check the recruitment notes for those. The vibe is more DOOM/Galaxy Quest and less DREDD/Event Horizon, but I encourage interested players to research Mörk Borg, Ork Borg, and all the other Something Borgs beforehand to see if it's right for you.

How will character creation work

Character creation in this system is randomized, and classes are optional, so it can be a bit of a different experience. We'll be using GENERATEORC found here: https://goblindustries.itch.io/generatorc if you'd like to make a character head of time, or see how it works.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
