About the adventure

"You stand upon the precipice of the cliffside, the arena viewers beyond are cheering for your team. There is only one last thing to do. The final enemy team member lies in front of you, badly beaten. With the cheers of the crowd, you cast your spell and end their life. They respawn at a pillar some distance away, but that was their last life. You've won! Your team around you erupts into a full cheer as the crowd roars! Welcome to Oakworth's School of Everything, adventurers, scholars and students; your fate is at hand! You find yourself in the gritty reality of empires attempting tp one-up each other. However, that is none of your business. You're here to attend the school. The go-to place to learn anything and everything in this upsetting world. It is here that you'll team up with a group and pursue your studies together to hopefully get through this campaign with as few scars as possible. In this campaign, players can expect to attend Oakworth's School of Everything, a college set up in one of the empires on the continent of war-torn land. It is here that the most talented and powerful minds of the time come together to teach the next generation how to be the very best in their specific fields, be it management or fighting, magicks or basic history. This prestigious school has it all! And, the very best part, is that they are having their centennial anniversary this year, welcoming the 100th year of newcomers and year 1s to the Oakworth Family. You just happen to be a part of that year."

Additional Details

How to prepare

Players need to be prepared with a microphone, a Discord account and access to an internet browser for use with Foundry Virtual Tabletop. The DM will prepare everything else.

What I provide

I am bringing the Foundry VTT program, a subscription to Heroforge for NPC and player tokens, an Inkarnate subscription for city maps and Wonderdraft for region maps and the campaign map.

Gameplay details

BEFORE THE GAME... we will be going over session 0 to get everything squared away and good to go. Here you can express your expectations, my expectations and so forth. We will also be doing the Luxton Discussion Technique. DURING THE GAME... there there are several things you're more than welcome to do. Such as stop the game if things have gone too far, walk away from the "table" if you need a mental break, as well as us taking an official break roughly 2-2.5 hours into each session, including session 0. AFTER THE GAME... I will ask how everyone is doing, allowing people to debrief themselves from the game, especially after a hard fight or other stressful situation. Then, we will go over Stars and Wishes to see what we can improve upon, what we want to see, and what we're doing well in.

How will character creation work

Players will begin at level 3, and will be created during session 0 via Foundry VTT. All officially published options are available with some additional ones provided by the DM.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
