About the adventure

The crew, the intel, the secrecy and preparation... for a (hopefully) perfectly executed plan and a huge payoff. The thrill of heist stories lies in the intrigue and the moment when everything can either end in wealth and happiness, or tears and disaster. That is your life as an... "Acquisitioner" of valuable things. But, you and your crew don't do things in the vile, ugly manner of the seedy criminal underground. You hold yourselves to a higher standard; only taking from those that can afford it, and resorting to violence only under extreme duress, or if they really deserve it. In this campaign, the lens will be focused on you and your dreams of being the best while holding on to your personal ideals. -> Build your crew, with each player having a particular "specialty" suited to the great task ahead of you -> Establish the business that will be the "front" for your hideout, and attract clientele from among Waterdeep's elite with their deep coffers -> Take over the city through a series of beautiful, flawless, heart-stopping heists that set you up in wealth, social status, and power Get ready to embrace your inner Gentle-Thief!

How to prepare

Have Discord, a mic, and either Chrome or Firefox installed. I'll send you a link to discord server, and other campaign links soon after you join. So, if you want to do further prep you will have access!

I will bring the game, and everything else needed for it. Just bring your imagination and creativity!

Gameplay details

Expect to flex your (roleplaying) social and intellectual muscles in this game, where creating a captivating story together comes before all else. My goal is to make you connect with your character and create lasting memories. We'll go over setting, character creation and background plot hooks in sesion 0, and dive into some roleplay if we get the chance. Though we may explore themes like violence, mental health, and mature content, we will discuss each player's comfort zone and my approach will always be in line with it. I won't delve into explicit depictions of topics such as sexual assault, harm to children, or cruelty to domestic animals within my games. In Session 0, we'll have a comprehensive dialogue about safety measures, playstyles, and your content preferences. Even as we face some dark elements of storytelling, I always aim to foster a space that is both respectful and secure for my players.

How will character creation work

We'll discuss some basics through messages as soon as you join and finalize things during Session Zero. We'll go over everything and make sure to create a group that can play well off of one another.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
