About the adventure

This will be a one-shot designed to teach newcomers how to play D&D - from roleplay to combat and everything in between. Using a custom scenario from my homebrew world of Eracia, and pregenerated characters for ease of jumping right in. We will also discuss different roleplaying tools, like X cards and open door policies to educate new players about their own safety.

Additional Details

How to prepare

You will need a mic, webcam appreciated but not necessary. You will need to set up an account on roll20.net ahead of time. There will be no need to bring dice as we will be rolling via roll20's interface. Most of all, bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

What I provide

I will bring pregenerated characters, maps, rules, and visual aids, all available via roll20.net. I will DM all of those who join a link to the roll20 game.

Gameplay details

We will be discussing the tools we are using as well as several others. The scenario itself presents as a very light murder mystery, and will be balanced between roleplay, combat, and use of skills.
