How to prepare

This game can be played either in person, or online through Roll20.net and Discord. If we are planning to play in person, then the players should bring pencils and erasers, and some spare pieces of paper for notes. Alternatively, they can bring a device that gives them access to DnDBeyond.com. They can bring their own set of dice if they would like, but it is not required. If we are playing online, they need to have an account for both Roll20.net & Discord (A free account for each is all that is required, both can be used on a browser). They also must have a microphone for voice chat. A webcam for video is optional.

What I provide

I will be supplying the necessary books and blank character sheets for character creation. For both the in-person and online games, I will provide the maps and story for the introductory adventure.

Gameplay details

Characters will explore a fantasy city looking for a lost person. They will run into gangs of criminals and get caught in the cross fire between waring factions. This game will include digital X cards and discuss Line's and Veils at the beginning of the session.

How will character creation work

We will be creating level one characters together at the start of the session. The players will have access to blank character sheets of paper, or can use DnDBeyond.com for building characters if they prefer using computers. Only the Basic Player's Handbook will be available for character options.
