About the adventure

It's a new semester at the prestigious Historically Black Magic College, Hillard University, and a new year of Prospects has begun their journey of learning and adventure at the world's most prestigious Adventuring Academy. Hillard University Adventures is a long form magic academy campaign set in the world of Demi. You are a freshman who has been accepted into the ancient halls of this Magic HBCU for your strength of arm, magical gifts, or your uncanny cunning. What adventures await you at your dream HBCU? Only time will tell. Classes starts soon. Don't be late!

How to prepare

A mic is needed for the playing of the game. Cameras are optional. I will be on camera for the sessions. I like to talk with my hands. A base understanding of the rules would be beneficial, but is not completely necessary. Character sheets are kept digitally in Roll20. Dice are also rolled digitally in Roll20. Art for the player characters is also needed to represent the character on digital maps.

All of the assets I bring are virtual. I'll also be bringing the amazing story!

Gameplay details

Players can expect and safe gaming environment that is open and flexible to be their truest selves without reproach. In session 0, An RPG consent list will be filled out while going over my lines and veils. That information will be compiled anonymously and shared with the entire group before session 1 so that everyone has a copy of the expectations of each other. After every session, a debrief is given to ensure that everyone is feeling safe and that the game does not bleed into personal life.

How will character creation work

During session 0, stats will be rolled in Roll20 and character backstories will be developed with me, either publicly or privately before session 1 starts.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
