About the adventure

Sky pirates, flying whales, and floating cities, oh my! High Tower is a sprawling, epic adventure set in a futuristic magic world. Glitches endanger everyone's safety, and they spread from city to city like a contagion. You've been recommended to The Expanse Council for your talents to be put in one of many tactical units. If you succeed, you'll be the most infamous heroes the sky has ever seen. If you fail... you'll fall from grace. Strap in, folks. Themes: high magic, urban fantasy, mystery, apocalypse, optional themes of mass death and terrorism. Themes are very adjustable to player lines and veils.

How to prepare

We will be using webcams and mics. D&D Beyond has a digital dice roller but you can also feel free to roll your own. You will need to have zoom installed.

Gameplay details

We will have a lines and veils document, which everyone will have access to. We will use chat to check in on x,n, and o. Stars and wishes will be preferably in person after session, but it can also be written. In our session 0, we will go over all our lines and veils, our safety tools, characters, and potential party connection.

How will character creation work

Players will join a D&D campaign on D&D Beyond and create level 3 characters within it. We will use Discord to discuss characters beforehand, but will roll stats in our session 0. This setting is high magic, so spellcasters are suggested but not required.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
