About the adventure

Have you ever wanted be the Big Bad, the evil villain who spreads destruction and chaos everywhere. The blood thirsty Warrior tyrant who craves the battle field of war. The Wizard who seeks the knowledge of the dark arts, maybe even to become a Evil Lich. The lawful but corrupt authority figure with an pension for cruelty. Or to even just be a immoral Mercenary willing to do anything for as long as they get paid. Then you have come to the right place, for in Hell's Vengeance a Pathfinder 1e campaign for evil and neutral aligned characters you will take on the role of the forces of evil fighting to keep their evil kingdom from falling apart. The story, a paladin crusade formed from the words of a lawful good god has rebelled against the Thrice-Damned House of Thrune, the rulers of the evil nation of Cheliax. You and your fellow players will become agents and ultimately key players on the war front trying to take down the upstart rebellion of good before they gain further traction. Starting off as a simple Mercs for hire in a small town you will soon gain the attention of governmental figures that wish to use your band of villains as a special task force on the frontline. Gaining more and more power along the way, by the end you will be the true villains of this bloody war. While this is an evil campaign, do not simply think this the typical kill every one you see style of play, it can be, but there is room for nuance. So whether you want to role play as the complex individual struggling with the power they were given, using Machiavellian machinations to exact your long terms plans in the power plays of the ruling class or just a mean guy with a big sword, I hope to provide you with the opportunity full realize your character concept to the fullest, whether simple or complex. Additional Details

How to prepare

You simply need a discord account, since this is where the we will speak and talk amongst the group. You also need a decent quality microphone, nothing fancy but enough that we can understand you along with stable internet connection to play. Everything else like books and the VTT will be provided by me. You may also think of a small concept of an evil villain character that may interest you as well if you want before character creation, but we can discuss concepts during it as well if you want to be inspired more by the setting when I give you more details on the campaign.

What I provide

I will bring my experience running this game before, a VTT that we all can play on along with tokens and things to make it easier to play. I also have all the books needed to run and will share them with you. I will focus on giving new player and understanding of the system and rules while still keeping pace that focuses on narrative and interesting combat scenarios. I also want to give your character motivation beyond simply evil for evil sake thus I will try to adapt to your choices and your backstory if given one. Along with some side quests that based on your class and background.

Gameplay details

For Session 0 I will do personally help guide you through character creation, the tone of the game, understand what is your do and don'ts along with you can except out this game. I will also teach those new to the system how the game works on a fundamental level while trying to not overwhelm you. I will also provide a checklist to see what you are okay with in game and not. There will also be a small short break in game to break up the pacing let people get some food or let them do anything else on break given a 4 hour session.

How will character creation work

Before the game starts we will talk to have a personal character creation session and give you a fundamental understanding of the game we are going to play, along with me providing the materials you need to play in terms of books. For new players I will break down the system step by step in character creation so you can understand without being overwhelmed. Mostly just an small concept in mind going in before hand and we will expand upon it when we do creation. The length of the character creation will depend on your familiarity with the system but we will set up a timeframe in advance before the first game.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
