About the adventure
Are you ready for adventure? I'd love to be the GM for you! I can run any published adventure book in The Sword Coast campaign setting up to Tomb of Annihilation. If you're up for something completely new, I can run a Hexcrawl style sandbox game in my own Tetra campaign setting! The Google Doc outlines the high notes of the setting. Most of the world is a blank canvas to create a new story together. The pace of this style of game is a little slower at the beginning when canon is being generated regularly, but this is truly our story! Tetra Campaign Setting https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tRTcloMtiVocCm3B3Edbf9FawRyIpsodOZZF2reESg8/edit?usp=sharing Looking for something more specific, and not published? I'm more than happy to homebrew. You give me a number of session hours to work on the homebrew outside of play hours, and I will deliver, to the best of my ability, what you are looking for. How to prepare
1. Please be familiar with the D&D Basic Rules available to read or download here: https://dnd.wizards.com/what-is-dnd/basic-rules You don't have to be an expert at the rules, but do be familiar with the basics. 2. You will need to install Fantasy Grounds Unity. The Demo version is all you need: Windows: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/filelibrary/FGUWebInstall.exe Mac: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/filelibrary/FGUWebInstall.pkg 3. If you don't already have a Fantasy Grounds forum account, you will be prompted to make one. 4. In FG Unity, once it is downloaded, installed, updated, and you log in, join the GM named Pox 5. When you load into Fantasy Grounds, click Library on the right sidebar menu, click Modules, and in the window that pops up, in the bottom left, click Activation. Click Load next to each of the modules you see. All of my games are online. I live in the literal middle of nowhere. For players, mics are required, but webcams are optional. I will use a webcam and am comfortable with using most web based video chat programs. My default is called Jitsi. It is a free, web based, and very secure. I found out about it from my other military communications friends. Here is the website if you would like to check it out in advance: https://meet.jit.si/ I find that webcams give a richer experience, but its totally up to each player.
What I provide
1. For Fantasy Grounds, I bring a lot of assets from published D&D adventures (monsters, treasure, maps, etc.) I also bring an Ultimate license, so you only need to install the Demo version of Fantasy Grounds Unity: If you are a single player, or want an additional expert player, my girlfriend would love to support your party for an additional fee. She is an excellent roleplayer, and has even more RPG experience than I do!
Gameplay details
I had to put in at least one content warning, but this meeting would be professional in nature. Any unwanted content types can be discussed in this interview. Taking a break at 2 hours for about 10-15 minutes is my normal operation. Reserving the last 10 minutes of a session for Stars and Wishes (never heard of this, but it's a great idea!) and a quick debrief with the group seems like a sound plan.

How will character creation work
Character creation would be done in session zero using the Fantasy Grounds character wizard. I prefer 4d6k3 stat generation, with your choice of where the scores go, but its fine if you prefer the point buy system. I do like to provide a short questionnaire to players in advance, if possible, but not required, about tone, theme, and specific interests or dislikes. I'll also ask the same questions when the group is together. I've found this method produces a great experience for all players, an me as well! Unless you have a Fantasy Grounds license you won't be able to create a character beforehand. However, the character wizard is very easy, and I'll walk you through the process. Knowing what Background, Class, and Race you would like to play before Session Zero would be very helpful.
