About the adventure

A family friend has passed away under abnormal circumstances, and you now head back home to Palebank Village in order to pay your respects. Urgon Wenth, a Dwarf Explorer, has passed away under some unusual circumstances. For what you know of Urgon, he would not have gone without a fight, and old age was not a factor for him yet. Something unforeseen must have taken place to get ol' Urgon. Hopefully someone in Palebank can give you a little more information on what happened, in order for you to piece together the mystery surrounding Urgons death. A possible murder mystery, wrapped in the unknown of a magical universe. Using your wits, cunning, and general prowess, can you help figure out the cause of death for your friend, before others suffer the same fate.

How to prepare

To get prepared for this adventure, please have your character ready to go, have your mind in a space to play a roleplaying game with other people, and most importantly of all, be ready to have fun. A large part of this adventure is creating a link between you and the deceased NPC. So as a player you will need to give your character reason for being back in Palebank Village to attend his funeral. I will share a Discord & Foundry link once characters are completed.

What I provide

I bring with me the desire to have fun, and grow us as a group, no matter how short the adventure. I bring a flexible spirit, that readily relies on the rule of cool, and follow the path that as long as were having fun, not much else matters. I also bring all the DnD content, and the built Foundry game.

Gameplay details

This adventure could have horror-lite themes. As a DM I tend to steer away from the more intense horror aspects of an adventure. Attempting to weave a creepy, but not terrifying vibe when needed.

How will character creation work

Character creation will done on DnD Beyond, at the players pace, but completed before the session starts. While the adventure is set as a lvl 1 - 3 game, everyone will come in as a lvl 3, as I feel that is more fun. If your not comfortable starting at lvl 3, you are welcome to create a lvl 1 character, and then advance your character up to lvl 3 at your own pace.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
