About the adventure

This takes place in my homebrew world, Rakuen, which features a wide variety of oddity and danger. For this game, players will be exploring the distant lands known as Horizon, a mysterious land where many adventurers travel to seek glory, riches, or something more, as if all were strangely magnetized toward the distant, heavenly tower in the distance known as the Hereafter. Players are adventurers. The land is mysterious and poorly explored, and life is very fragile outside of the cities. Only valiant heroes or rowdy entrepreneurs need apply for an adventure here. We'll be hosting this game on Roll20 for the actual tabletop experience, and Discord because it's simple and easy! This game is friendly to beginners, and I can gladly teach anything you need to know to learn the game. At the same time, this game is built for players with some level of experience. I will hold your hand if you need help, but you're the boss of your own adventure!

How to prepare

Ideally, you should create characters beforehand; that can be discussed if you feel intimidated doing it on your own. All you need for session is a microphone and a device that can run Roll20 and Discord (a basic laptop should be fine). The only software you'll need to download beforehand is Discord, if you don't have it already.

What I provide

I can provide basically anything! The game will be pre-built for your needs. If you have art for your character, I can factor that in as well; if you're lazy or poor though, we can find a good picture for your character when we get together. All materials are handled by me, so it'll be a breeze for you!

Gameplay details

Expect a bit of planning and exploring (with potential for random shenanigans), and then some combat. Lots of roleplay at all stages! You guide the way, and I roll with what the players want. My sessions and world trends toward mature (PG-13 or Rated R), usually due to violence and adult circumstances. I can use trigger warnings and censorship as needed. It's better to discuss that with players though. Feel free to message me if you have particular concerns or things you would definitely not like to see in a session, and I can work around your needs.

How will character creation work

Usually character creation will happen before session, but if you need guidance, we can handle it at the time of session. Usually characters will start at level 1.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
