About the adventure
An introductory game for Monster of the Week. New players welcome! All ages will be allowed to play, but please be aware of PG17+ themes, horror and gore. This session will include character creation and the first session. This is intended as a one-shot, but may continue onto another session. A group of friends travel to Louisiana for a weeklong trip to break away from their mundane and boring office life. A voodoo doctor conspires to raise the dead and the players that are caught in the first small parish that is taken under siege of undead, must stop the voodoo doctor or become one with his undead swamp army.

How to prepare
Discord is needed and a microphone is preferred. A webcam is optional. Characters will be provided a copy of their character sheet through discord, and can keep track of any of their stats and changes with pen and paper (or notepad on your computer).
What I provide
For virtual gameplay, I will bring you an in-depth and enticing session that you are sure to reminisce about. For in-person gameplay, I will likely provide you with miniatures, or a PDF of the game that we are playing.
Gameplay details
This game contains the following themes: Horror, gore, and suggestive content. There will be a decent amount of investigation, while combat and roleplay are secondary. This allows new players to not feel pressured to stay in character 100% of the game, while also learning the game mechanics.

How will character creation work
Characters will be created at the beginning of the session. Monster of the Week has premade classes that are quick to choose and learn how to play. This is expected to take up to 30 minutes.
