About the adventure
Heroes of Kyrnn! Your awaited time has come. Shadows of the Dragon Queen introduces the Dragonlance setting into 5th edition ruleset. Have you been waiting to answer the call and fight the draconian forces of Takhisis? It is time to stand up to the tyranny and conquest. Characters will be made using rules for Dragonlance characters found in the book, no Ravnica, Ebberon, or Mysthunters content, UA and homebrew will be reviewed before use in-game. Please note that I will be using some changes from base 5e for particular encounters: *Traverse Deck - traveling between locations will require more that just survival checks, athletics, perception, and other skills will be needed *Convince Encounters - One persuasion check is not enough, you can use your Intelligence to make logical arguements, Wisdom for common sense, Strength to intimidate, and Charisma to charm your way through the world in places. *Pursuit Scenes - uses a lead, near, trailing, far range system to increase the excitement of chase scenes. Note: The mechanics for these come from the Stargate SG-1 RPG by Wyvern Games. Handouts with summaries of the activities will be available in-game upon request.

How to prepare
Must Have: Discord, Fantasy Grounds Unity demo or paid copy (I have an Ultimate License so you just need to have it installed), Speakers/mic or headphones. Useful: Headphones if you have problems with ringing/echos from your speakers. Character background story (5-10 sentences is fine) and some weakness/fears/growth opportunities. Positive and fun attitude without rules lawyering or lore gatekeeping.
What I provide
Fantasy Grounds Ultimate License, play using dynamic lighting, fog of war, and line of sight tools along with scripting and effects to let you focus more on the fun of playing rather than remembering to apply an ability.
Gameplay details
Themes: Fight against conquerors/oppressors Content: Possible descriptions of torture/mutilation in limited areas, NPCs hunting PCs (note my goal is PG-13 but I cannot guarantee what may arise from other players) If a particular item is problematic, anonymous notification will be available in game to let me know with confidentiality (I will not even know who is requesting the change unless someone says they did)

How will character creation work
Characters can be created using official Wizards of the Coast material excluding Wildermount/Rick&Morty/Ravnica/Ebberon/Mysthunters, UA/Homebrew subject to review for balance. Players may set up an appointment before the first session to build their character in Fantasy Grounds (I have content published up to Xanthar's Guide pre-loaded and can add other items as needed), or attend Session 0 with a character build on paper that I can help load into Fantasy Grounds.
