Additional Details

How to prepare

A stable internet connection is required. Microphones are required cameras are welcome but not necessary. You will also need to have/create a Roll20 account and a Discord account. If you need help with anything I can help out before or during the game. You will also be sent a consent form after joining a game so that I can craft the story in a way which respects everyones boundries.

What I provide

I will bring my pro Roll20 account which has all licensed Wizards of the Coast content for character creation. All the people that you will meet in the game will have voices. There will be tokens for all player avatars and the occasional map for when we are traveling and during combat. ( I especially enjoy creating maps on the fly when it is necessary or theater of the mind). Music for every occasion is played in the background as ambiance helps to facilitate the immersion. Finally, animations from the team at Roll20 make those spectacular story elements really explode!

Gameplay details

Session zero will include a consent form that everyone must fill out so I know what we are comfortable running for the campaign. Of course, the content can be adjusted from session to session if we feel like we want to see more or less of a topic, all present in the Stars & Wishes section at the conclusion of every game. (Where we talk about what we liked and what we would like to see in future sessions). In this campaign, you will have the opportunity to interact with NPCs and build relationships, have the classic tavern experience, buy/sell/trade/craft unique items we can discuss in-game, spelunk in ancient ruins or abandoned towns, authentically impact the universe we play in, and of course tons of fun combat encounters to name some experiences you might have at this campaign.

How will character creation work

Characters will start at level 1. - The attribute system by default we will be using is the Point Buy system so that you can have full control over your character build. -If you are joining for the first session we will have a group conversation as to how the characters know each other, tie them into the background of the world we are playing in, and perhaps synergies or variations depending on what we are playing. If you are joining after the first session of the campaign we will have a conversation separately to get your character to fit into the party.
