About the adventure

Curse of Strahd Unleashed! Join us for the greatest D&D story ever written. The campaign will be geared towards the characters and their stories. Game events will change the outcome of the campaign. Try new homebrew classes! This will be heavily customized including the best material from Mandy Mods, DragnaCarta, Lunch Break Heroes as well as my own creativity! Under raging storm clouds, a lone figure stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. The vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stares down a sheer cliff at the village below. A cold, bitter wind spins dead leaves about him, billowing his cape in the darkness. Lightning splits the clouds overhead, casting stark white light across him. Strahd turns to the sky, revealing the angular muscles of his face and hands. He has a look of power—and of madness. His once handsome face is contorted by a tragedy darker than the night itself. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind's howling increases as Strahd turns his gaze back to the village. Far below, yet not beyond his ken, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd's face forms a twisted smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they have come—all according to his plan. He, the master of Ravenloft, will attend to them. Another lightning flash rips through the darkness, its thunder echoing through the castle's towers. But Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind—or perhaps a lone wolf—fills the midnight air. The master of Ravenloft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited.

How to prepare

You will need to download the free version of Fantasy Grounds Unity and have a free Discord account with a working microphone (webcam optional). I provide all of the 5e sourcebooks (plus quite a bit extra) in Fantasy Grounds for you. If you prefer to build your character in D&D Beyond or elsewhere, you can send me your sheet and I can build in FGU!

Gameplay details

Feel free to discuss any subjects that make you uncomfortable with me in private. We will fade to black with anything that could potentially be uncomfortable for any player or myself. Though this is a gothic horror themed campaign, the story will be told with class. What did you expect? Strahd is a "man" of class and high society!

How will character creation work

Character creation with take place either at Session Zero or with the GM at a different time. We will do this on Discord and FGU. I will send a Discord Server invite once you message me. All campaign and character-building information can be found there.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
