Portsmouth is a small town on the shore of the Misty Lake. On the first glance it's just an unassuming town with peculiar history, charming small businesses and gorgeous view of the lake. Most residents of Portsmouth are totally unaware of the strangeness that exists just beneath the surface and between the cracks, preferring to live their day-to-day lives raising their families, mowing their lawns, and enjoying summertime barbecues. Main characters are ready to finish another school year when a terrifying discovery turns their world upside down. Now they have to dig out the truth and find out what's been keeping the prosperity of their city and what secret is hidden BENEATH THE MISTY LAKE. The game is centered around roleplay and is aiming for 5-8 sessions. The tone of the game is eerie and spooky. No gore, extreme violence etc. 🏳️‍🌈It is an LGBTQI+, Female and Beginner friendly game. ⚠️No harassment, disrespect or racism, homophobia, sexism IN and OUT of the game!

How to prepare

Please have reliable internet connection and a good microphone. I wont be able to play with you if I can't hear you. Webcams are not required. Everything else will be provided through Roll20 and Discord!

I'm making custom map, rule book and illustrations of every location characters will visit.

Gameplay details

During session 0 we will create characters and shape the world as we like it. Since it's a horror-themed game I will send a Lines and Veils document so that we are on the same page and I can shape the story accordingly. Keep in mind that I never use graphic or sexual violence in my games.

How will character creation work

The character creation will be done during session 0. Players do not need prior knowledge or preparation, since I will discuss and explain everything. Besides playable characters, players will also create connections, their character's family and even can change the map of the town.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
