An Eldritch Investigation, level 2, 5th Edition DnD

About the adventure

Characters will work together to discover what happened at a local archeological dig site, after most of the professors and laborers didn't return as scheduled. Rumor is they uncovered something terrible, evil and otherworldly. The local guild, The Night Birds, hires the characters on with promise of an uncommon item and 50 gp each. Teamwork and information will turn the tide in this one shot adventure! Players will build to level 2, using official or approved content for 5th edition. No lone wolf or edge lord build will work on this adventure. We will use my discord server for voice and video (cameras are optional), and Roll20 for character sheets, maps, and handouts. Warning risk of character death, having too much fun, or kicking butt! ******You have to have Roll20 for tokens and discord for chat***********

Additional Details

How to prepare

You must have a Discord account as well as a Roll20 account both of which are free for you. A real microphone and decent camera are very important to having a fulfilling online session. I will give the discord server link to players the day of, and the text channel will hold the Roll20 game invite.

Inkarnate custom maps, 5+ years of experience, crazy Npcs, studio quality microphone/interface, discord server, safety tools, HD camera, ect..

Gameplay details

We will build characters together just before session. Players will roll stats with 4d6 drop the lowest, and get one reroll but if they reroll they must take the result. Players will also start with a feat for this adventure. A decent microphone and and full attention are required, a camera makes for a fun time!
