A Wild Sheep Chase: D&D 5e One-Shot
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Discord, Roll20, Zoom
About the adventure
Epically fun, wonderfully simple, and rather silly, the Wild Sheep Chase is a charming little one shot for parties of adventurers at levels 4 or 5. This is, despite the mid-level start, an excellent adventure for newbie players and small groups as it is easily scaled down and our starting level is up to us -- we can adjust. We start in the streets of a big city (think Waterdeep, Faerun kind of place) where you and your team are doing -- well, that's up to you. Y'all can be tourists or just locals hanging out for all I care because, in our game, adventure will find you. Expect quick character set up before having a light-hearted adventure sprung on your group which should keep us all occupied for about 3-5 hours of rolling dice and playing roles. **single players and small groups welcome. **Discord OR Zoom, but seriously folks, Discord's better and easier for this kind of thing
How to prepare
You will need a microphone set up Camera is optional, but highly encouraged - you will have more fun Roll20 is optional, but again, you'll enjoy the game more and my job will be easier. It's free, but only runs on PC (no mobile): https://roll20.net/ Discord OR Zoom (your group can pick), but I definitely recommend Discord over Zoom. More features, easier to use, and just as free: https://discord.com/ [mobile app works too, but computer is slightly easier to use, esp. if you're using dual monitors]
What I provide
I will bring all the resources we need. If we're using Discord, I will set us up a private server to organize our game. We'll have bots to roll dice (if you're not on Roll20) and soundtrack our game. If you give me the art, I'll turn it into a shmancy little token for you to use on Roll20 when we play
Safety tools used
How will character creation work
