About the adventure

NB: As this is an ongoing campaign, we welcome individuals spectating if they are thinking of joining. --- ADVENTURE INTRO --- Like many of Sharn's mysteries, this one started with a body lying dead in the rain-swept city streets of the city's towers. An assassin, a strange journal, and an offer from a noble heir have led the heroes across the face of the continent of Khorvaire. They have discovered several powerful eldritch objects, each linked by a common, if mysterious, purpose. Along the way, they learned that their patron was not the only group interested in the items. A fanatical group of soldiers called the Emerald Claw had their own interest in the objects the heroes had found. If that was not enough, a sinister construct named the Lord of Blades had sent his own lieutenants to steal the artifacts for himself. After their patron was attacked in their own home and the objects stolen from them, the heroes have followed the Emerald Claw to the the middle of the jungle-filled continent of Xen'drik. Here they have uncovered an ancient Giant ruin, as well as a powerful magical throne that may be the secret to this whole adventure. While they may have dealt with the Emerald Claw in the ruin, they need to solve the mystery of the giants' throne before the rest of the Claw's forces return. Though, with the weight of an ancient draconic prophecy behind them, and the possibility of riches ahead, the heroes know that after this adventure they will find themselves drawn to the mysterious frontier town of Salvation. There, they aim to solve some of the mysteries that have weighed on their shoulders since this story began and face dark secrets that may reveal truth not only about their journey, but about themselves too ... --- THE SETTING --- The medieval world of Eberron is a place of magic and monsters, where arcane energy is commonplace and greatly influences society and industry. The continent of Khorvaire, where this adventure starts, contains magical skyscraping cities, elemental-powered coaches and carriages, and all manner of enchanted conveniences alongside traditional medieval surroundings. The world is changing, and powerful houses exert control over much of the commerce in the world, enhanced by their hereditary Dragonmarks. Their influence is not to be misjudged, or underestimated. On top of this, the effects of the Last War, which ended only four years ago, are still felt to this day. The world maintains a fragile peace, but things may be unbalanced at any time, such as through the discovery of powerful magical relics... The players now find themselves drawn together through fate, prophecy, personal agenda, or the desire for coin. Whether in the city of Sharn, a fantastical, vertical metropolis, or the wilds of Xendrik, they continue to pursue the goal of stopping some of the world's gravest dangers. It's time for you to join them...
