Welcome to the Kingdom of Brancalonia! The world you live in is one of breathtaking adventure, heroic feats, and legendary deeds. Here, knights in shining armor lead fearless armies against terrifying enemies; skilled treasure-hunters, ready for anything, explore the forgotten basements of long-lost empires, juggling lethal traps and name-less monsters; cunning, mischievous heroines use their charm to deceive princes and merchants and steal treasures worthy of a royal ransom in one night! But you’re not one of them... you are the ones who step in when things go wrong: lazy swindlers, low-life scoundrels, listless dabblers, and greedy Knaves. Brancalonia is a low fantasy, light-hearted, tragicomic setting, deliberately inspired by medieval Italy, its folklore, literature, pop culture, and legends, from Dante to Pinocchio, from Leonardo to Sergio Leone’s movies. A brawly fantasy with “no money for special effects”, with completely new races, subclasses, new spells and monsters, shoddy objects and magical junk, ready to give the players – and the Condottiero (GM) as well – a very good time. Brancalonia is also the recipient of FOUR ENnie Awards (Gold for Best Electronic Book, Silver for Best Setting, Best Product, Best Writing), and has more than a dozen adventures ready to play.

When can I run games?
Brancalonia: Nothing's good like being a Knave! runs from June 23rd through July 3rd. You can create a game for any timeslot during that time but we recommend that games start at the following timeslots: 12pm EDT, 3pm EDT, 6pm EDT, and 9pm EDT. When scheduling your sessions, keep in mind that StartPlaying.Games will adjust to each user's time zone.
What games can I run?
You can run any games featuring the Brancalonia campaign setting.
Do I have to use a specific Virtual Table Top (VTT)?
You may use any VTT of your choice as long as it does not conflict with our Code of Conduct.
