About the adventure
The city of Saltport, last refuge of humanity from the ever encroaching fog is a bustling metropolis where life struggles among the twisted ruins of mankind's long lost glory brought down by the shattering of the moon. Soon after lunar meteors crushed much of the world, a writhing fog creeped through the wrecked towns and cities swallowing all those unprotected by light and separating the survivors who cling to their illuminated havens. Delvers are the heroes of the world but they are also mercenaries for hire who do whatever it takes to complete the job. They take many forms: an outcast, a rogue, a wandering corpse pretending to be a doctor, a sewer worker, a noble and a holy woman along with many more whose stories are waiting to be told. Delvers venture out into the world and the fog but they may not return fully human for it changes all who enter it, they endure it for no one else is skilled or insane enough to do it for the world to be saved. You are one of a number of delvers hired by the council of Saltport to investigate why the Phareflaw Lighthouse has gone dark during the time of Deep Winter. The vital light it provides is necessary for ships bringing precious cargo of chum and salvage to the people of the city and keep her ever hungry factories working. Captain McAlgae has been chosen to become the new Wicktender at the lighthouse as a compromise for her steadfast reluctance to retire, the council have also granted her request to transform her ship the Riverboat Drastic into a new settlement once the light is restored. This is a beginner game for Time Without Tide that aims to teach new players in a easy to learn scenario for the newest system from Chaosium. This two to three session introductory game will lead players through the basic rules using pre generated characters giving a taste of this Victorian themed post apocalyptic world. Players do not need anything more than Discord and Roll20 to play as everything including character art/tokens will be provided.

About me
Yes I run the Red Dwarf roleplaying game. Experienced DM who has too much writing and not enough players as I tend to create a lot of lore which can be adapted for any player to fit ideas they may have. I can run a wide range of games and campaigns and discuss with players about what they would like to do and try to match both my style and what they enjoy. I am an Anti AI GM as the devastation to the industry by job replacement and the ethical problems with it are concerns
