About the adventure
It's spooky season and that means it's time to roll out one of my favorite modules, Curse of Strahd. This adventure offers challenging combats, plenty of roleplay opportunities, haunted ruins, and ancient mysteries. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or brand new to it, I invite you to explore this adventure in the dark forests of Barovia.

About me
I've been playing tabletop games for over twenty years. I ran Adventure League for multiple game stores, while also running printed and home brewed games for those stores. For the past eight years I wrote and helped run larps. And lastly I occasionally run dnd for a library program for kids.

Creating your character
Characters will start at level 1 and use the point buy system to choose their stats. For character options, please limit your options to printed WoTC materials. I'll be fully available to help make characters as well. I will be available via discord to answer any questions.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a working mic, and accounts for Roll20 and Discord.
What Andres Velazquez brings to the table
I'll be providing maps, and while I may not be a trained voice actor that has yet to curb my enthusiasm for the few accents I can do. I bring challenging fights that aren't punishing. There will be plenty of opportunities for role players to interact with the world. I encourage the rule of cool, and want my players to feel comfortable enough to take big swings.

How Andres Velazquez creates a safe table
I will send you a Lines and Veils document to fill out. During the game we will use X, N, and O cards, but you can always privately message me during the game if you don't feel comfortable calling it out in play. I will always be available after the session for a bit to go over any concerns you may have about the game, or if you just need to decompress. The content warnings are for as written Curse of Strahd. All of it is subject to change to make sure you feel safe at my table.
