About the adventure
The world of Curseborne looks no different to ours on the surface, but curses are everywhere. You will play as one of the accursed, people who have become a Ghost/Vampire/Werewolf/Something else as the result of a particularly major curse, and try to survive daily life in all it's crazy forms. I'm not opposed to there being any sense of genuine drama or stakes, but if there's funny ideas for plots I'll see if I can work them in. My primary pitch for the story is this: a respected friendly accursed in your local area has contacted a group of up-and-comers for their first real task in the supernatural world: investigating and documenting the emergence of a new Lineage (type) of accursed, and reporting back to him. Of course, if you have another idea, I could run that by you. Regardless, the plot will be somewhat open-ended, and could go in a number of ways depending on what the players and GM feel like. You might end up dealing with mundane occurrences empowered by curses or pulled into an otherworldly place for an excursion or major plot segment. I will aim for at least 6 or 7 posts a week. These posts might be in short bursts of a few days, especially as I am likely to be starting online learning courses as I write this campaign blurb. Also note that I am new to professional DMing so there may be a few hiccups here and there. Also worth noting is that this campaign will avoid the use of discord.

About me
The moon is out, the owls are hooting and its my time - im the Nighttime DM. "Whos that?" you ask - just some guy on the internet who would love to share his fondness for video games like Dawnsbury Days and the Legend of Grimrock in an unusual way when not doing his day job - plus looking for alternatives to discord! I might be seen being fond of odd or bizzare humor and gags here and there, tho I always do my best to try and adapt as is needed for a given group. I'm glad to discuss a variety of things I feel I would love to share, though you'll have to come closer if you want to know what.....

Creating your character
Make sure to do a read of the Curseborne core rulebook and character creation process, I will only permit character options from there as of the time of writing this. (I might allow options from the player's guide when that releases)
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need to make a gamevox account. Once that is done, I'll link them to the server we will be using to run the game. I do wish to mention that I as a DM am fairly new to gamevox, and have been searching for an alternative as discord becomes sketchier with each passing day. If there are other alternatives to discord that you would like to talk about I am willing to discuss them. I can assure you that Gamevox is completely free for you and it could be worth a try if you want a discord alternative yourself. I will also say that I am fairly confident that we can run this game on gamevox, which has a native dice roller. That being said, this may not be as fancy as other professional DMs on startplaying due to the use of a free server. If Gamevox proves to be too much of a hassle for the campaign, I will switch to my backup option, Fluxer.
What Chothral brings to the table
I will provide free copies of whatever material is needed for the game, including copies of the advance PDF and character sheet PDFs. I will try and help out with the character creation process if needed (or even do all the work if the players are interested in jumping right into the meat of it after explaining to me what they might be interested in playing)
Homebrew rules
I might be doing a few odd things regard the rules surrounding Outcasts and death, perhaps simplifying it to just being deaths in a battleground.

How Chothral creates a safe table
I will ask people what they would rather not see in the campaign. I typically will try to gloss over distressing details to make things more palpable for the party.
