About the adventure
The mists conceal a world of darkness. The land holds secrets, the land is ancient. This will be a grim horror campaign where your characters will have to fight tooth and nail to save their lives and their souls. Wilderness exploration, magical mysteries, dreadful combats, and a face to face encounter with evil itself in the shape of man. In a place as grim as this it's good to make friends, and in Barovia the chances of making them are few- at least the genuine ones.

About me
My name is Luke Spangler, but most know me as Spud! I've been playing and running games since I was a teenager. Dungeons and Dragons of course was the gateway that led me to many wonderful sundry TTRPG's. There came a time when playing and running came very dry and I opened myself up to the journaling and card games, then finally found other people to play those games with. Playing was of course a strong itch, but slowly I felt the draw of the world behind the screen. Creating worlds and stories were already fun. But the thought of tailoring to the player's stoked mine. I love to "Yes, and." It is a game we are all playing together, but the story is uniquely ours.

Creating your character
You may use any published material for character creation- Van Rictens Guide to Ravenloft is encouraged. If it interests you I have access to the Crooked Moon supplement if those subclasses or races are enticing. We will go over creation on Session 0. Afterwards I will work with each player more closely to develop their character and backstroy

What Spud brings to the table
I will provide a google sheets character sheet. I have a robust music library I use to set the stage and atmosphere. Inhabiting a character is something I quite enjoy, so expect character voices. If there is any material you are missing for character creation, or are missing information on class, race, etc, I will be able to provide.

How Spud creates a safe table
Session 0 will help us determine what is off the table. If things are intense in the moment during play message me privately and we'll stop the table to touch base. Lines and Veils are old reliable for me.
