About the adventure
Howls of terror haunt the halls! A bloody tale of madness darkens the Gilded Mare inn once more! You've been summoned to the decayed rooms of this once luxurious place to uncover a dark haunting, one that has already taken lives, and put a stop to it. It won't be an easy task: you and your party must spend the night at the place, investigating its rooms and corridors, looking for signs of the occult, and hunting down clues to uncover its torrid past. Old wooden floors creak, candles flicker and fog rises. A strange being of rancor stalks the walls. Will you sucumb to the terror? Or end it once and for all? --------------------------- This is a Lvl.3 adventure for Daggerheart, made with both beginners and intermediate players in mind. Here you'll find a dark but fun tale of terror, a mystery of the occult, investigation and ghostly combat. Newcomers welcome! This is a great opportunity to learn the system with guidance. This game is voice-only.

About me
Hi! I'm GM Diego. I've been playing TTRPGS for about a decade, GMing for a little over 5 years, and loving it more every day. Most of my experience is with D&D 5th edition, but I've also run games with Call of Cthulhu, Dread, Blades in the Dark and more recently Daggerheart. I'm an architect by training (expect to see maps) and a lover of weird fiction, the strange and surreal, the fantastic and magical. I like introducing these elements into my games, whether in a whimsical or darker fashion. I love the feeling of getting lost in a fictional world, and nothing makes me happier than creating those experiences for other people.

Creating your character
-Once you join, you can send me your Demiplane username or email so I can share content with you (So you have access to all character options). I'll also send you a link to a discord server, where you can discuss character creation with your fellow players. -Create your character and send me their sheet before the session starts. I'll provide assistance and feedback as necessary. -Create your character sheet by using demiplane (you will need a free demiplane account), then link it to roll20 (you will also need a free roll20 account). -You may use all official Daggerheart material. -You may use content from The Void. -You may use mixed ancestries (by following the official rules). -Due to the limited time of the one-shot, relationship questions and backstory may not come up, but you can still establish these in the discord server if you wish to.

You will need: -A mic -A free Roll20 account -A free Demiplane account, linked to your Roll20 one. -Discord If you don't know anything at all about the system, let me know in advance and I'll give you some guidance. I'll also share the rule book with you over Demiplane so you can read the relevant parts at your own pace.
