About the adventure
The setting is a dark fantasy set in a world of my own with implements from the sword coast and the main dnd lore points. I like to make it so all players and myself are having fun. I prefer to have a roleplaying heavy game mostly staying in character and only out of character for rolls and such. I like to explore lore and things my players want and coming up with things on the fly is some of my favorite things to do. I this is my first time running a paid game however I want to give you the best experience with my style of dm'ing. I will put my all into the world outside of the main game as well tying your characters into the lore as well as I can.

About me
I am Aiden, I have been playing and gm ttrpgs for most of my life as its been a staple part of who I am. I care about the rules but in reality ttrpgs are cooprative story telling games that thrive on players thinking out side the box. I have ran multiple year long games and many one shots. I have a variate of ttrpgs I know how to run and play. I make it my mission to make the people playing have the most fun.

Creating your character
I would like to do a session 0 where we create character sheets and after session you are more than welcome to make a backstory if you would like. Starting level is 1, they will be created on roll20. We will use any books you'd like to use just run it by me first if its unearthed arcana.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You would need a discord account, and a roll20 account. I will make a discord server for the game where characters will be rolled for and npc art as well for important people. as well as recaps of sessions will be posted.
What Aiden McNeely brings to the table
I love to do character voices, as well as finding ambient music for them. I love having tense combat the will of players over coming a fight is always fun to see. I love the rule of cool if you give me a good reason something would work that way
Homebrew rules
I like drinking potions as a bonus action, another I use is rolling death saves privately to me so other players don't know if you succeeded or not.

How Aiden McNeely creates a safe table
I like to take the time after a game to go over anything the players liked need or anything they need to talk about. Having a session 0 can be very helpful to me to get all the things players have trouble with. and I prefer the X, N, and O's to be messaged so I can quickly look and see what it is.
