About the adventure

You are the field team of Artemis Station, an international research base on the Moon. Six colleagues stayed behind while you went out on a routine surface mission. You were supposed to return with samples and survey readings. Then the sunlight disappeared. There was no warning, and it has not returned. Mission Control no longer answers. Neither does Artemis. You can still hear one another over the suit radios: breathing, equipment checks, another call to the station that receives no reply. Ahead, your lights pick out the familiar modules. There is no visible damage, no sign of anyone outside. With the solar array no longer producing power, the station must be drawing on its reserves to keep the air circulating and the heaters running. Your colleagues should be managing that emergency. Someone should be answering. The return rocket offers a way off the Moon, but first you need to reach Artemis, find out why the crew has gone silent, and decide what to do together. On the Dark Side is a one-shot Modern AGE adventure in Gritty mode. You’ll explore a failing base, cross airless and damaged sections, and piece together what happened while the lights and life support fade. Whatever took the missing crew may still be aboard. This game is for players who enjoy claustrophobic science fiction horror, teamwork under pressure, and hard choices with no guarantee of a safe outcome. Your immediate goal is simple: escape Artemis. Whether Earth is still there to welcome you is another question.

What Augur (Lloyd) brings to the table

💖 Pulse pounding suspense ⛰️ Breathtaking maps 🎻 Excellent soundtracks 🎵 Suspenseful ambiance I’ll run Artemis as a tense, atmospheric survival story. Expect clear descriptions of the base and its hazards, clues you can act on, and a steady sense of time running out. You’ll have room to investigate, make plans, and find creative ways through damaged or airless sections. Modern AGE’s Gritty mode will make danger consequential. I’ll make rulings clearly, give you enough information to weigh risks, and keep the game moving when time matters. Combat may happen, but escaping Artemis is the goal; teamwork, caution, and quick thinking will matter just as much as fighting.
