It all started with a simple bit of corporate espionage in a high energy physics lab. When it was over, many questions remained.

About the adventure

Our story begins in the city, in the corporate laboratories of Archodyne Industries. A shadowy figure moves among the equipment, only to be caught by corporate security. Things go rapidly awry as the experimental equipment malfunctions, and your team gets called in. What were the experiments? Why were they targeted? And do the heroes shut them down in time? Welcome to the Invincible universe! Whether you're an old hand at Superhero RPGs or just trying out the genre for the first time, this game is for you. Create your own team of heroes and defend the city as it deals with the consequences of the event. Invincible is a game powerful stories of and brutal combat . Heroes fight and sometimes die to protect others. Not all villains survive to be punished. Players may find themselves playing more than one character as the campaign progresses.

About me

Well met, travelers! Come in, make yourself at home. I’ve been telling stories since I learned to talk. Then, decades ago I discovered D&D and learned that other people could tell them with me. It was a revelation. Since then, I have run games, played games, learned games, and written for and about games. I’ve run many different systems, including but not limited to, D&D (3 editions worth), Traveler, World of Darkness, Champions, Mutants and Masterminds, FATE, and Modiphius’ 2d20. I’ve played many more, including Runequest, Superworld, Blades in the Dark, and others. My favorite tales involve dynamic, clever heroes. Would you know any, by chance?

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will occur during Session Zero. Please don't come to that session with a completed character sheet, just some ideas you would like to explore. I will work with you and your teammates to build the character and team we will explore the Invincible Universe with. We will build Street Defender characters, with an eye towards their future development.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

I will send you a link to my Discord server and the Roll20 room when we go live. You will need a free Roll20 account, and it would be tremendously helpful if you had a copy of the Invincible RPG.

What T.I.L.TE.D. Chris brings to the table

I like to bring dynamic NPCs with individual voices into my games, and use the Rule of Cool when needed to give your characters a chance to be awesome. Your character will come complete with a history and story prompts so we can evolve your personal tales as we progress through the overall plot.

Homebrew rules

None to begin, but we can create any we may need as we go.

Safety

How T.I.L.TE.D. Chris creates a safe table

Invincible is a world of sudden graphic violence and character death is a real possibility. We will discuss that during Session Zero, as well as other tools we will use to insure safety. The X card will be our in-game signal that something needs to be addressed. If you play an X card play will immediately stop and we will work to find out what the problem is and how to resolve it. My door is always open, and I will allow after session time to discuss anything we need to discuss about the session.
