About me

Hi I'm Lluna, I'm 23 and I've been Dming for 7 years and a player for 5, I have expierience mostly in long term campaigns but I've also ran One-Shots sometimes. As a DM I mostly try to make the players feel like the main characters and create a great atmosphere for everyone to be able to enter into the game as quick as possible. I'm a trans girl who's studied voice acting but ironically is not doing voice training hehe. Jokes apart, you can ask for me to DM whatever setting or idea you or your group has, I'm open to pretty much everything. Last but certainly not least, I would like to make clear that I intend my games to be as much of a safe space as possible, and I will not take kindly to any type of discrimination at my tables.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will happen during session 0. We will start as what this game counts as level 1. We will have a call through Discord where I will give each player their character sheet and go step by step on how to create a Pokémon. The books that we will use will be the Pokérole 3.0 and Pokerol Mystery Dungeon, a copy of each will be given to the players but they can also find them if they search them up in google or in the official Pokérole Discord server.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

The players will need to create a Roll20 and a Discord account if they don't have one already. We will roleplay through a Discord call and throw dice through Roll20 Also I recommend to come to session 0 with what Pokémon you would like to play, the available Pokémon are from Gen 1 to Gen 9 and in the Pokerole 3.0 rulebook you can find if that Pókemon is allowed as a starter. Think of a general idea of your trainer too, you will not play as them but you will have vague memories of who you were so is better to have something written down.

What Lluna brings to the table

during session 0 there will be a discussion on what aspects of the game the players want to invest the most, either roleplay, exploration or combat, and I will adapt to what the decision is but I will also try to keep a balance between the three. I can bring serious or silly voices for the characters of this adventure. I mostly run Rule of Cool and don't focus too much on hard tactical combat. And I always try to give the spotlight to everyone at some point so no player feels left out of the adventure. I mostly intend to do a cartoony and silly adventure with some serious moments sprinkled into it.

Homebrew rules

I won't use Dynamax/Gigantamax, Mega-evolutions or Terastalization as they would not make sense in this region.

Safety

How Lluna creates a safe table

During session 0 we would discuss what we dont feel comfortable about having in the table, even though this will be a pretty tame game it is important to put limits on what can or can't be done, that's why we will go over the lines and veils of every player before starting the adventure. This game will not contain hard or detailed descriptions of violence but there will still be some violence involved durinf the Pokemon battles.
