About the adventure

About me
I have been playing and hosting TTRPG games for 11 years. I love the hobby and try to enjoy the game both as a player and game master. As a player I always help the game master on the topics of scheduling and rulings as co-gm if they would allow me to. As a game master I allow players to discuss rulings with me in a civilized manner and I find these interactions helpful as we are all humans.

Creating your character
We will be creating the characters on the session 0. All sources of D&D 5th Edition 2014 are permitted, except Unearthed Arcana. I will be helping you create your characters through the Foundry VTT.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using Foundry VTT for the games and communicating through Discord.
What Motun brings to the table
As a Game Master, I provide my players a space to progress their stories. I will use ambient music and do character voices. I will put effort to make the world alive to them. Even though I love the rules, I am a person who follows rule of cool when it is necessary. So whenever you have something cool in mind, just spill it out and I will allow it if I see it fit. All I expect from my players is the the attention of theirs and effort to get into the story with the party.
Homebrew rules
I do not punish Natural 1s both for the players and for NPCs, it is just a destined failure and nothing more.

How Motun creates a safe table
During the session 0 we will be creating the characters but while doing so we will be discussing the rules of the game. Such as no PvP and no indecent acting. During sessions turning on your camera is optional. However you feel comfortable. After every session, we will be evaluating the game and discuss it and our experiences.
