About the adventure
London, 2012. The Kindred have ruled from the shadows for centuries, but something is changing. The Second Inquisition is closing in, and the foundations of London's vampire society are beginning to crumble. In Fall of London, you will step into the darkness at the moment everything changes and uncover the secrets behind the city's impending collapse. This is a story of gothic horror, mystery, ancient vampires, political intrigue, and survival. The campaign follows a larger unfolding crisis, but your characters are at the center of it. Their relationships, decisions, loyalties, and reactions to the events around them will shape how they experience the story and what consequences follow. At my table, I want players to feel like active participants rather than spectators. I value thoughtful character choices, meaningful roleplay, and collaboration between players. You don't need to predict where the story is going or find a single "correct" way to approach a situation. Instead, we'll discover the consequences of your decisions together while exploring the dangers and mysteries of a city on the brink of collapse. New to Vampire: The Masquerade? You're welcome. You don't need extensive knowledge of the setting or previous VtM experience to join this chronicle. Whether you're discovering the World of Darkness for the first time or you've been playing Kindred for years, we'll build the experience together and discover what happens when London falls.

About me
As a Storyteller, my approach is entirely player-centered. I firmly believe that the most memorable games happen when the narrative revolves around your characters, your choices, and your consequences. I don't run rigid, linear plots; instead, we collaborate to build immersive, character-driven stories where your actions truly shape the world around you. Whether we are exploring the epic heroic fantasy of D&D or navigating the complex personal horror and political tension of Vampire: The Masquerade, my goal is to create a welcoming, collaborative, and inclusive environment for everyone. I deeply value clear communication, patience, and mutual respect at the table, ensuring a safe and comfortable space where both newcomers and veteran players can thrive. Having experience on both sides of the screen, I structure my games around fairness, consistent mechanics, and rich roleplay. I love helping players bring nuanced characters to life, and I look forward to weaving a dark and unforgettable tale with you at the table!
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
In this chronicle, you will play as one of five pre-generated characters whose histories, relationships, and forgotten pasts are deeply connected to the story. Each character has their own identity, personality, strengths, weaknesses, and secrets waiting to be uncovered. These aren't disposable pregens designed simply to get you through character creation. Your character's history is part of the mystery. As the story unfolds, you'll discover more about who they were, what they experienced, and how their past connects to the events taking place in London. Part of the fun is stepping into a character whose story is not entirely known even to you. No prior experience with character creation in Vampire: The Masquerade is required. The characters are ready for you to step into and make your own. Once the chronicle begins, however, the character is yours to play. Their decisions, relationships, beliefs, and reactions to what they discover are in your hands.

What Tatiane Pires brings to the table
Here is what you can expect from my Storytelling style and our sessions: - Player-Centered Narration: The story revolves around your characters, your choices, and your consequences. I don't run rigid, linear plots; instead, we collaborate to see how your characters impact the world around them. - Thematic Focus: Fall of London leans heavily into the core themes of Vampire: The Masquerade — personal horror, mystery, and political tension while navigating a world of ancient Kindred and an increasingly dangerous Second Inquisition. - A Welcoming Table: I specialize in welcoming and teaching the V5 system to newcomers. I prioritize clear communication, patience, and helping everyone learn the mechanics smoothly as we build a memorable, dramatic story together.
Homebrew rules
We will be playing the game largely using the standard mechanics of Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition (V5) to keep things intuitive and consistent. However, I do utilize one narrative rule to keep the story moving smoothly: - The Narrative Gauge Roll: For actions or choices that significantly impact the story but aren't strictly covered by the official rulebook, I might ask you to roll a single d10. Instead of a strict pass/fail check, this roll is used to gauge the degree of your character's success—or the narrative consequences—helping us dynamically determine exactly how the scene unfolds.

How Tatiane Pires creates a safe table
Your safety, comfort, and consent are the absolute golden rules at my table. Vampire: The Masquerade is a game that explores dark, mature, and personal horror themes by design, which makes establishing clear boundaries essential before we ever roll a die. Here is how we ensure a safe and supportive gaming environment for everyone: - Session Zero Groundwork: We will review safety tools and establish our collective Lines and Veils. We will openly discuss the thematic boundaries of the chronicle to ensure everyone is on the same page and comfortable with the narrative direction. - A Living Document: Consent isn't a one-time checkmark. Our Lines and Veils document is a live, evolving concept. It can be updated at any time—before, during, or after a session—as the chronicle progresses and needs change. - In-Game Safety Tools: If a scene ever becomes too intense or uncomfortable, you can instantly send me a private message on Discord simply asking to "pause," "fade out," or "pivot away." I will immediately pause the action or transition the scene, no questions asked and with no need for you to explain. - Open Door Policy & Aftercare: My digital door is always open. Players are always welcome to message me privately during or after a session to discuss any content, check-in, or decompress.
