About the adventure
The village of Inatol is quiet, known only for their ripe, red apples. A noble lady sits in the local inn with coin on the table and a careful smile — she needs a group of capable strangers to retrieve an ancient relic from the Tomb of the Unnamed King, a sealed burial site that has stood undisturbed for centuries. Until recently. The Tomb of the Unnamed King is a beginner-friendly one-shot adventure set in Etryia, a homebrew world inspired by medieval England, Lord of the Rings and games like Dragon Age. Expect dungeon exploration, tactical combat, roleplay, and a mystery that rewards players who ask the right questions. The tone is dark but not grimdark — danger is real, but so is the satisfaction of surviving it. This game is designed for players who are brand new to Pathfinder 2e, or to tabletop RPGs entirely. Rules will be explained as they come up. No previous knowledge is needed, if you want to make your own character we can sit together to make it! Otherwise I will have premade characters ready to go!

About me
Hi! I'm Raih. I've been GMing for several years, but the first world I created lived in my head long before I ever sat behind a GM screen. It began as a novel I thought I might someday publish, but something never quite clicked until my friends became the characters living inside it. Once that happened, I never looked back. Worldbuilding is one of my favorite parts of running games. I love worlds that feel alive: NPCs with their own agendas, places with histories that began long before the party arrived, mysteries with answers waiting beneath the surface, and consequences that continue unfolding after the characters move on. But I don't treat lore as something players are merely invited to observe. My games are collaborative. If the party becomes fascinated by something I only sketched loosely, we'll build it together. If a character's choices send the story somewhere unexpected, I'll follow them. The world belongs to me when I prepare it; once we begin playing, the story belongs to all of us. My games are roleplay- and character-driven, with exploration, mystery, and tactical combat woven in where they matter. I love watching players theorize about lore, become attached to NPCs, make terrible plans for excellent reasons, and choose what their character would genuinely do even when the tactically optimal answer is staring them in the face. If you want a living world, meaningful character development, choices that matter, and a GM who is genuinely excited to discover what you do next, you'll fit right in.

Creating your character
If you desire to create your own character we will sit together at least a day before the session to make it and I will guide you through it.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Since we will be using discord for organization and communication while during the session, so it is important to have an account!
What Raih brings to the table
I promise an experience that is patient, where no question is to silly to make, and where I will be there to guide you as needed every step of the way. I follow the rules but don't obsess over and love it when my players do cool things, so rule of cool appears often in my games. I create detailed maps for the session, and I try to make my combats and roleplay as interesting and interactive as I can. I use Foundry VTT with several modules for ease of use as well as ambient sounds and music, however within the music tab you can individually set how low or high you may want to have them for your comfort.
Homebrew rules
-Two weapon flurry for rogues and two-weapon fighting classes I give as a first level feat, not until level 14, and this one shot starts with 2 hero points (inspiration).

How Raih creates a safe table
As this is a one-shot, it is unlikely we will do a session 0 all together, but I would still like to have a 1 on 1 with each player to speak about what things could be triggering and what their expectations may be. From that forward and into the session we will be using lines and veils, as well a X,N,O cards sent in private messaging through discord or sent in the game chat. Of course if at any point you feel uncomfortable and need to take a break, feel free to do so! Please keep this in mind when scheduling.
