About the adventure
The year is 1851, and the districts and streets of London are swelled with masses of humanity. Poverty and industry grow hand in hand, and the prosperity for the few is borne on the back of the deprivation of the many. But more sinister and mysterious threats stalk these parishes and alleys -- hints of nighttime predators, hunters in dreams, magics too foul to fathom and monsters too vicious to believe. Those who survive and escape? Well, many of them are determined to see that no such dangers ever catch them again. The Seasonal Courts of the London Freehold are a cavalcade of the sweepings of Arcadia; individuals who have escaped the fey Gentry and now try to protect their lives, homes, and city from them in the name of Her Majesty Queen Victoria (God save her!). The city is poised to open the gates of the Great Exhibition, cementing British pre-eminence in all matters of innovation and industry. Behind the magnificent display, however, lie the daily struggles of the working classes in this largest city on the planet, and the darker monsters that haunt and prey upon them. Reaching ancient arms across the Hedge from the halls of Arcadia, the True Fey seek to plunder the inspiration and ambition of London's populace for their own eldritch wants and desires. Their former victims in the city's freeholds can see the signs -- and prepare their own plots in response.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I've been running games for twenty-odd years now and enjoy every minute of it! I run narrative-heavy, character-focused adventures in almost any setting. My games are safe, inclusive, intersectional, and tend toward homebrew storylines in dynamic worlds. I love taking players on an emotionally compelling journey that gives them a chance to affect the world their characters inhabit. I always enjoy having people contribute to an ongoing narrative as we build a story together.
