About the adventure

Sincomakti University has asked you to investigate the disappearance of Professor Caydserries Arudora. This coincides with a recent development in the case of the Arudora family; the university was recently approached by Florin Kindler, who claimed to be a distant relative of the Arudora family, to seek out their enigmatic castle. Often referred to as "Bastardhall" by locals, this castle appears only once per century, striking terror into the inhabitants of the land. You are a member of Sincomakti University's professional "fixers" or researchers. The university is often involved in strange and violent matters and keeps a diverse staff of skilled combatants to advance their research interests. You have been tasked to escort Florin Kindler to this castle, see what you can learn about Caydserries, and ensure that everyone returns safely. This campaign will make heavy use of the Research subsystem from the GM Core.

About me

Check out my website here: https://jordanvoltzgm.com I primarily run Pokemon Tabletop United and Pathfinder 2e, but I enjoy a wide variety of systems. I have run many game systems in the past, but have settled on these as my primary systems. For those interested, I have run multiple long campaigns of Dark Heresy, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Vampire: the Masquerade, and Dungeons and Dragons 3.5. I have a deep passion for Wraith: the Oblivion, and a great interest in running a game set during the Great War. I am interested in running a Shadows of Esteren game, and would be interested in being commissioned for a game too. Before I was a full-time Professional Game Master, I was an English professor. I have a master's degree in Medieval Studies and have done research on the impact of roleplaying games on the cultural imaginary of the Middle Ages. While I prefer medievalist settings, I also love modern and science fiction settings! At the core of every roleplaying game is a human experience, and that translates across time and space. I am currently running 7 PTU: The Social Ecology of Kanto games and 2 No Kings, Only Makers: An Anti-Fascist Pathfinder 2e Game. For information on these games, please see here: https://www.jordanvoltzgm.com/ For those interested, here's my Academia.edu page: https://ceu.academia.edu/JordanVoltz

What Jordan brings to the table

Paizo's Bastion of Blasphemies module for Foundry VTT A pre-written quest log to help you keep track of your quests with minimal input required. I primarily run games Rules as Written, but exceptions should be made for Rule of Cool. PF2e works well RAW, but it also provides guidelines for improvising that should be used.
