About the adventure
LEVEL 20 EPIC ONE SHOT! Experienced players only! An arcanist somehow managed to compile the components and knowledge to cast the epic spell Karsus's Avatar. A banned spell capable of killing a god and stealing their power. How he managed to learn these secrets is still unknown. But the goddess of magic wants the ritual stopped by any means necessary. You must enter his heavily guarded private sanctum and disrupt the spell before he can complete the casting. Should the madman succeed it will cause a cataclysm across the planes. ------- While this is a combat heavy game, it is is not just combat. It is a full adventure and complete dungeon to explore with multiple scenarios to experience and a story to uncover. These encounters are not balanced because they cannot be balanced at this level. The challenges are not fair. You will need more than just your character sheets. You must be clever and will have to rely on your allies if you have any hope to succeed.

Creating your character
Level 20 Average HP or yolo roll (no rerolls on 1's) 2014 preferred, but 2024 is fine Official material only Multiclassing is fine No weapon masteries No Silvery Barbs No Hexblades Select three uncommon magic items, two rare items, one very rare item. Assume you have enough wealth to purchase any mundane gear you need. Choose 1 legendary item. Roll a d100. On a 1 or a 100, you have been gifted temporary ownership of an artifact level item of the DM's choice. Ping me on discord if you have any questions. If your character may need additional sheets for summons, familiars, or some other setup let me know so I can get that prepped.

The expectation is that everyone knows their characters and abilities. Questions about rulings on niche interactions will obviously happen in game, but try to ask those beforehand in discord during character creation. This is a full adventure with a wide variety of challenges so plan accordingly. You have 1 adventuring day to complete the objective so manage your resources wisely. No Hexblades
