About the adventure
"Thief in the Night" is a 1-2 session long introductory campaign for the system Snomes. The story begins with a mystery: the sudden disappearance of Shiverbrr's Winter Star, the magical artifact that keeps the town in that perfect sweet spot between "too hot for Snow Gnomes" and "a piece of neo-rustic ice sculpture." The campaign as written is short, but allows for players to explore the town of Shiverbrr and meet the people who call it home. It's all very quirky and endearingly grumpy, as all good stories about gnomes should be!

About me
Hello! My name is Rosie (he/they), I'm a queer, neurodivergent, amateur GM who's mostly run unpaid, casual games until now. So far I have only run Dungeons & Dragons 5e, but I hope to expand my library of systems as I get more experience under my belt! I've been playing tabletop for about seven years now, and have been DMing for just as long, if not longer (everyone's had a Forever GM phase lol). I find TTRPGs to be fascinating and exciting tools for building characters and telling stories, with things such as dice rolls providing exhilerating twists so that the same tale can never be told twice!

Creating your character
Character Creation will be handled in a half-price Session 0 where I will help all players to create their characters as well as introduce them to the world and mechanics of Snomes.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a Discord account for voice chat and (optional) webcame usage, as well as image sharing for game assets. Upon signing up for the campaign, players will receive an invite to my server, where I will host the campaign. This campaign will be run with the Theatre of the Mind, so no outside VTTs are necessary.
What Rose brings to the table
I will provide players with guidance, maps, and music for the campaign itself. I pride myself on my NPCs, so they can look forward to running into a bunch of silly, cranky snow gnomes not unlike themselves. The Snomes system is very rules and materials light, requiring only your character sheet and 2d6 and favoring narrative more than hard stats. We will go over character creation and system specifics during a paid ($10) session zero.

How Rose creates a safe table
Players will inform me of Lines and Veils through an individually filled out document, which I will then use to tally up any and all potential triggers and share them anonymously with the table. X, N, and O cards will also be implemented, either via a sound through Discord's soundboard feature or messaged to me privately through DMs.
