About the adventure
Beginners Welcome! Rules will be taught Whitechapel, 1890. At The Ruby Room, rival Kindred come to smoke, feed, trade secrets, settle debts, and indulge their vices without fear of reprisal. The women who work the Den have their own ways of feeding - and their mortal clientele provides discreet opportunities for Kindred visitors to do the same without risking the Masquerade. Beneath the smoke and uneasy civility lies a web of favors, grudges, alliances, and old betrayals. You are vampires with your own loyalties, debts, and ambitions, but Ruby's Room matters to every Kindred in the city. As danger closes around the , you'll decide what matters to you—and what you're willing to risk to protect it. In a city built on secrets, how much is your word worth? This is an intro adventure using the clans of Vampire the Masquerade, particularly the Victorian Age: Vampire descriptions within the Undying rpg context. Undying was an attempt by Magpie games to remake Vampire the Masquerade into a proper vampiric game, rather than gothic superheroes. But don't worry, I've made sure to create player aids and rules will be explained at Session 0.

About me
I’ve been creating characters since I was twelve—starting with Basic D&D and a reckless halfling thief—and for the last decade I’ve been running, playing, or reading RPGs constantly. I’ve played or run over eighty games, from classics like D&D and Marvel Super Heroes (FASERIP) to modern favorites like Dolmenwood, Mothership, and more. I’ve run countless one‑shots and short campaigns, and I design games myself. Beginners are welcome, and I’m committed to making my tables welcoming to women, neurodivergent players, and LGBTQI+ players. I run games with diverse friends and convention groups, so this isn’t new for me. I use the simplest tech needed, with video preferred to keep the focus on people rather than platforms. You don’t need to know the rules or build the perfect character—I’ll help you learn as we play. I value engaged play: curiosity, risk‑taking, relationship‑building, and pursuing interesting stories rather than waiting for the GM to dictate the path. Bring curiosity, respect, and willingness to participate, and I’ll meet you with a world ready to respond.
