About the adventure
This will be a Gestalt game which means that you will have two classes instead of just the one. At level 1 you could be a Fighter and Wizard having access to both classes features and skills. at level 2 you would have access to level 2 fighter and level 2 wizard features. Northlands is a Norse inspired D&D setting, where the players will try to stop the events of Ragnarok from happening. The party will be recruited to stop the Cult of Ragnarok before they can set in motion the beginning of the end times. Our epic heroes will have the chance to meet the Gods and battle alongside them such as legendary figures like Loki the God of Mischief and Thor the God of Thunder. Though the fires of conflict our heroes shall be forged into mighty warriors whose sagas will be told for generations to come. If you fall in battle may the Valkyries guide your soul to Valhalla so that your ancestors may raise their drinks in your honor. If you ever wanted to play a D&D game with a Viking theme then this is the perfect place for you. We will be playing through the adventures found in Northlands Saga as well as my own homebrew quests to hopefully get the players to all the way to level 20. This game will allow NSFW content and I have set up channels for each player for their own erotic roleplaying as to not slow down the events of the main campaign story. If you're a new player that is perfectly fine as I will help walk you through character creation and assist you in any way that I can.

Creating your character
Our heroes will start their adventure at level one. For stats we will be using a stat array of 17,16,15,14,13,12. The player characters will start off with extra equipment and an origin feat. Players will receive 2 healing potions and two uncommon magic items of their choice after being approved. If your character starts off with proficiency with any tools, kits, or musical instruments, they may add them to their inventory for free.

Homebrew rules
Level Up HP When you level up you may roll your Hit Dice twice and use the higher result to add to your health. Heroic Inspiration You can have a total of Heroic Inspiration is equal to your proficiency bonus. Healing Potions You may use a action instead of a bonus action when using a healing potion to regain max healing from the potion used. Initiative If you roll a natural 20 for Initiative you gain one extra action for the first round. Surprise If a creature is caught unawares by the start of combat, that creature is surprised, which causes it to have Disadvantage on its Initiative roll, and saving throwing. Attack rolls against a surprised creature also have advantage. Healing Surge As a action you may expend a number of your hit dice equal to your proficiency bonus to regain health. Gestalt You will have two classes that level up together. For your HP you will be using the hit dice of the class that gives you the larger hit die. You get the skills and saving throws of both classes. Spell slots are added together, if one class gives you four 1st level spells and the other gives you two you would have a total of six 1st level spells. Extra attack unfortunately will not stack.
