This campaign starts off as a simple investigation but quickly ramps up the stakes that will pit the players against hordes of classic monstrosities to Eldridge abominations in a desperate attempt to stop their master before they can fulfil their plan to control the USA then the world! Expect a good mix of investigation, role-playing and plenty of pulpy action and combat. Setting is the 1930’s, Lloyds of London Special Agents & Marine Adjusters: A a group of extra ordinary investigators sent around the world to look into high risk, high value cargo globally, whether it’s ocean liners, experimental aircraft, racehorses, or priceless art collections. About me
Picked up role playing games in 2020 during the pandemic, quickly fell in love with The Call of Cthulhu. I've been running one shots and longer form campaigns since 2021. I enjoy classic Call of Cthulhu as well as Pulp Cthulhu and Dragonbane.

Creating your character
Pulp Cthulhu rules for character creation, we'll start with a single talent and unlock an additional talent with milestones, including magic and weird science.

What Warren brings to the table
Two Fisted Drama, High Stakes, and Unspeakable Terror! Expect a lethal brew of character driven drama, immersive hard boiled storytelling, and violent, high stakes combat where every round of ammunition counts. You'll roll your own characters during a session zero or during a call with me, each with their own motivation for stepping into the high stakes world of global insurance adjustment. Foundry VTT will be setup with sheets, dice, and full rule references with immersive battle maps and scenes. Expect low-light tension, howling maritime soundscapes, dynamic lighting, and classified period handouts. The investigation shifts on a dime based on your choices. If you kick down the wrong door, the story bends to hit you right back. Rules-wise, I stick to the books rules, flexing the mechanics only when it ramps up the suspense and story. Real horror is a thrill, not a hazard. I'll run a tight, safe table using Lines & Veils alongside an open-door policy so anyone can hit pause the moment things hit too close to home.
