About the adventure
"How did you get here" is a gritty survival horror campaign with elements of Apalachin folk, eldritch, and American Gothic Horror themes which takes place in a dark wood. Your character will find themselves in a land they do not recognize, once there they must grapple with not only the horrors that stalk among the trees but also the horror of their own past mistakes and misgivings. As they struggle to survive the pain of their pasts and present they will ponder one question. "Where am I, how did I get here?"

About me
Hi, my name's Finn! After years of wanting to play D&D but being unable to find a DM, I decided to take the initiative(pun intended) and learn how to run 5e. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made! Since then I've run hundreds of games for several groups. I tend to run campaigns in my own homebrew worlds, building the narrative around the player's backstories and in-game choices. I absolutely love this game and can't wait to share it with someone as talented and imaginative as you!

Creating your character
-Make level 1 characters using standard array or point buy -you can use classes and races from all official D&D sources, 2024 class options are okay as well, and so is homebrew upon review. -The setting involves strange time distortion so your character can be from any time in history up to and including the modern day. -Assume the world is a fantasy version of the real world with similar histories, religions, and Culture when considering your backstory.
