About the adventure
Free private 1-hour Session 0 — you prepare a character, I run your personal prologue, no commitment. LGBTQIA+/Beginner Friendly. Content warning: psychological horror, suicide, violence, death. This is Age of Liberation, a homebrew campaign with open-world exploration, mystery-solving, and social interaction, filled with NPCs that act on real motivations and faction allegiances. Expect heists, competitions, and puzzles of all kinds to intertwine with the usual D&D-style fights. The bosses you defeat are added to your roster of playable characters along with your original character. Characters you can pick, build and level up. No permadeath. *** The brutal Hound Demon, once the cheerful daughter of the mayor, now lies before you, gravely wounded. You fought bravely, and so did your other party members. Through her blood and tears she hisses at you, cursing you, forcing herself to raise her knife and attack one last time. She doesn't stand a chance. You strike, pushing your sword through her chest. But she does not die. You won't allow that. Instead you purify her body and liberate her soul. "… thank you," her voice whispers. Now she can rest. But you can't rest yet. You take her body and move on. Demon by demon. Vessel by vessel. Until you liberate the Demon King himself.

About me
I'm a writer, a teacher, and an entrepreneur. And at the table, all three show up: worlds built with a writer's care, rules explained with a teacher's patience, and sessions that actually run on time. My love for fantasy and sci-fi spans a lifetime. My D&D journey started four years ago, and about a year ago I began DM-ing worlds of my own — fictional universes I'd been building for decades. My campaigns are story-driven: deep lore, secrets that reward the curious, and NPCs you'll remember by name. Fighting is great, but oftentimes the right social interactions might get you one step further. You, the player, are my most important focus, and my greatest joy is that you will have a fun, amazing time at the table. We will work together to get YOUR character into the universe in a way that you can be satisfied with, and you will be able to shape your journey as per your own preferences. I look forward to having you in the party!

Creating your character
You can build a 5e/5.5e character, brainstorm your backstory and then we meet for our private Session 0. It's about 1h long. During this session we embed your character into the Age of Liberation, and we role-play our first encounter. I will also help you with the mechanics of your character and discuss any homebrew traits, if you want to add any. By the end of the free Session 0 you will have: - a full character sheet and backstory - an integrated lore, known only by you and the DM - the reason why your entire adventure begins - the vibe of how my D&D sessions work
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We use for a Discord server for our community and for the voice/video of the sessions, and we use Roll20 for the VTT. For character creation you can use any tool you want, such as D&D Beyond, Roll20, etc.
What Andrei brings to the table
This is a roleplay-heavy campaign where combat is still often present. I do voices for all the NPCs and keep track of the relationships that you develop with those NPCs, which will reflect in their attitude and actions. I stick to Rules as Written about 90% of the time, but still make exceptions for amazing moments when someone comes up with a brilliant out of the box idea.
Homebrew rules
You acquire new playable characters by completing their main quest and level them up them by completing their extra story quests or gathering materials. You can switch between pyour layable characters during long rest. Drinking a potion, throwing an object, and other simple actions count as a bonus action.

How Andrei creates a safe table
We get to set up expectations during our Session 0. If anything bothers you, we talk it out and either I veil it or remove it from the script. Communication is key, so be open about anything that bothers you, and I'll do my best to accomodate.
