About the adventure

This campaign will cover both official adventures Guilt of the Grave World and Secrets of the Swarm Your discovery of an ancient secret draws the attention of the Corpse Fleet, a terrifying undead space armada! After being captured and dragged to their home world of Eox, you must survive your captors as they play with their food; turning your suffering into mass entertainment. Can you stop the Corpse Fleet from turning the galaxy into a cosmic graveyard? (Levels 1-5) Once you free yourselves from their undead clutches, an old enemy threatens the galaxy anew! The unrelenting insectoid Swarm returns to consume all! Except this time, instead of pure annihilation, they seem to consuming and converting entire planets into terrifying new weapons to strengthen their conquest! With the planet of Krethiskar already fallen to their consumption... (Levels 6-10) Do you have the courage to stop these two galactic level threats? Only one way to find out... The Player's Guide for Guilt of the Grave World: https://downloads.paizo.com/GuiltoftheGraveWorld_Players-Guide.pdf Secrets of the Swarm does not have a Player's Guide unfortunately. CONTENT WARNINGS: - Undead (of all sorts) - Insects (both humanoid and non) - Gore - Horror - Body Horror - Cosmic Horror - Death - Space - Potentially more to be added when Secrets of the Swarm releases There will be a safety and consent sheet distributed to each player allowing you to denote lines and veils on content you would rather avoid. However, the above are fairly essential to the adventures as a whole, and therefore are difficult to adjust. I will do my best to accommodate, but go in knowing that the above are present in abundance within these Adventure Paths. ~✨~ NO AI will be permitted at this table in any form! I will never use it, and I will not accept you using it. ~✨~ This is an open and inclusive table, with a focus on teamwork and cooperation. I am Panromantic and this table will be welcoming toward the LGBTQ+ community! I tolerate absolutely ZERO bigotry, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, or hatred of any kind directed at a group of people. This is non-negotiable. If anyone has an issue at the table or ever feels uncomfortable, please talk to me about it so I can deal with it directly. ~✨~ During the FREE Session Zero, I'll guide you through character creation, cover expectations and safety, and explain the basics of the game and Foundry for new players. All with practical demonstrations. For those that are new I promise to teach you the game at your own pace, with zero condescension. There will be no dumb or bad questions. This will be a very friendly table. ~✨~ Requirements: - Discord - Decent Microphone - Decent Internet - Willingness and Excitement to Learn and Play - That's it! That's all you need! You're most likely already ready to play!

About me

Hi there! I'm a friendly forever GM and official Kobold enthusiast! At the moment, I'm primarily running Pathfinder 2e and Draw Steel, and would love to teach you both games! I am a firm believer in the Rule of Cool, the creativity of players, and the power of teamwork and imagination! I run a very inclusive table with a focus on comfort, kindness, and fun. While still keeping the tension of a dramatic game! I've been a GM for over 10 years. Most of my past experience was in D&D 5e, with additional experience running Dread, Call of Cthulhu, Vampire the Masquerade, and Avatar Legends. With a hunger to always learn new systems! My most recent addiction: Pathfinder 2e and Draw Steel! I have a focus on my players and their characters, roleplay, and engaging combat. Expect fun and unique NPCs, challenging and rewarding combat, robust and interconnected storylines, and a passion and dedication to you as a player!

Character creation

Creating your character

We will discuss characters prior to Session Zero, and begin crafting them in concept. We will finalize and implement them into FoundryVTT at the start of the Session Zero itself. We will be starting at level 1. For appropriate and thematic character options please check out the Player's Guide here: https://downloads.paizo.com/GuiltoftheGraveWorld_Players-Guide.pdf We will be using the Free Archetype and Automatic Rune Progression variant rules. 15gp for starting equipment.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A microphone, access to Discord, and a web browser are the only things you need to play!

What Justin (Geeky Game Guru) brings to the table

I will be hosting a private server through Foundry, providing access for free via most internet browsers. There will be immersive music playing at all times, with a controllable volume on the player's side. Rich art will be provided by the adventure itself, with supplemental assets provided when needed. I'm not great with voices and accents, but I will try to make each NPC and character sound distinct from each other as much as possible. Combat will be catered to the party's desires. If they prefer casual combat, it will be easier and relaxed. If the they crave tactics, I shall make it so. Starfinder's rules are robust and excellently written and implemented, so there won't need to be much determination or alteration. But I always lean toward the Rule of Cool, and will implement it when possible.

Homebrew rules

Free Archetype - At every even level players will receive a free bonus Feat that can only be used on Archetypes Automatic Rune Progression - A variant on Automatic Bonus Progression. Weapons and Armor will automatically increase in power as you level up, without needing to spend money on Fundamental Runes. Property Runes will still be available for purchase and use. And item bonuses are still present. Keeley's +10 to Hero Point Rerolls - When you use a Hero Point to reroll a check, if the result of the reroll is 10 or lower, you gain a +10 bonus to that roll, helping to ensure the effectiveness of the Hero Point. Rolling a Natural 1 will still augment failure down one step though Givable Hero Points - On top of the Hero Point every character starts each session with, they will also have a Givable Hero Point they can provide to other characters in times of need by narratively describing how they intervene and aid their ally. However, to balance this out, the party will not gain hero points throughout the session.

How Justin (Geeky Game Guru) creates a safe table
