About the adventure
The nation of Ustalav has had its fair share of problems throughout its history. The small town of Grayce is no different. And everywhere that has problems needs people to solve them - especially when the problems become bigger than the local population can keep in check. That is where you come in. As new adventurers looking to make a name for yourself in Grayce, there is no shortage of tasks to do in exchange for coin. Strange cryptids in the woods, sinkholes in town, abandoned temples, and ancient ruins - all in a day's work for local heroes. Why do you adventure? The thrill? Desperation? A need to prove yourself? Or maybe to live up to expectations? Whatever your motivation is, you're welcome to lend a helping hand in Grayce. I'm sure the town will present an opportunity for some coin. This adventure was original written to teach the game to beginners, and is presented in an anthological style. But I'm personally mixing and matching the stories and characters you will meet to create a cohesive narrative you'll get to shape with your actions and interactions with the world around you. About me
Welcome one and all to the table. I'm Kaeden, and I'll be your friendly neighborhood Game Master for the next few hours. The dice will be hot, and the dice will be cruel, but we will have a great time rolling. Have you ever wanted to feel like your actions actually make a difference for the story or the world around you? This is the table to make it happen. It's an adventure starring your character, and your decisions will have ripples throughout the story. I specialize in long-form Pathfinder 2e and Starfinder 2e games, though occasionally I do shorter games or run for other systems. I want you to walk away from the game feeling like it was the best gaming experience you've ever had. I respect your time and effort with time and effort of my own. A typical campaign from me usually runs about 6 months, telling a full story with a start, middle and end. Some games take longer or shorter, but that's the average.

Creating your character
We have a private Discord for you to develop your character and why they're involved in this adventure. You will be level 1 with standard starting gold (15 gold pieces). I don't generally allow undead ancestries or archetypes, or large ancestries (they tend to get stuck in hallways) but most other things are fine.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Just have a loose idea of why your character wants to do what they do. It's more fun when presented with in-game situations to think about what they'd do, because doing the "correct thing" isn't always the most fun. Upon joining the game you will be given a Discord invitation to my private Discord community, just say hey in there and let me know which game you're in so I can get your permissions set up.

How Kaeden creates a safe table
I always keep any player information or concerns confidential, and I'll be the bad guy if needed. We all have irl trauma and triggers, and our fantasy should not be feeding those. If anyone bothers you, or any other player is giving you issues, my dms are wide open and we will adjust what's needed so everyone's having the best time possible.
