About the adventure
"The Stolen Lands have long been the domain of bandits and monsters, but no longer! Your party has been granted a charter to explore these wilds, defeat its dangers, and build a brand new nation. Yet not everyone welcomes you as new neighbors, and powerful supernatural forces have their own plans for the region. Can you defeat your kingdom’s enemies and become one of the greatest new nations in the world?" In this adventure you'll be tasked with founding a new kingdom to bring order to a wild and untamed region, face many threats to your rule, and rise to prominence in the eyes of neighboring nations. You'll also be able to do so using especially unique character builds with the Dual Class variant rule, combining the strengths of two classes together. With this in mind, you'll have many more options available to you both tactically in the moment and strategically as you level up, so some familiarity with the system is useful though not required. I'm happy to help newcomers get their bearings and learn the ropes, but if you don't enjoy lots of options and complex character sheets, this likely isn't the game for you. If that complexity is something you enjoy, however, then welcome aboard!

About me
Hello! I'm David, and I've been DM/GMing for about 8 years now, though storytelling has been a passion for much longer. I got into TTRPG's with Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, and I've since found a love for running games in the Savage Worlds (SWADE) and Pathfinder 2nd Edition systems. I love to tell collaborative stories and got my start with forum RP's, then branched into TTRPG's when I realized how fun collaborative storytelling can be when neither party has full control of the outcome. It gives every storyline a bunch of unique twists that are often just as good or better than the ones that could be planned. And it can have some pretty epic tactical combat, which I'm also a huge fan of.
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Character creation will be handled in the free session 0 and your character will be hosted in Foundry. You'll start at level 1, and we'll be using the dual class variant rule, as well as expanded character options from Team+, including resourceless Essence spellcasting.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a discord account, and your access to the foundry server will be set up either prior to or during the free session 0. Access to documentation will be provided once you've joined the discord.
What Indringer brings to the table
I like to use character voices and embrace the merging of tactical combat with story-driven narrative, and whether I'm sticking to the rules as written or employing homebrew, my main goal is to make sure that things are consistent for everyone. In my experience, there are few things more frustrating in gaming than contradictory rules, so I endeavor to avoid that in my games. I'll also be hosting the foundry server we'll use to play, as well as providing character options beyond those in Paizo sourcebooks; most notably the Team+ class, magic, and feat expansions.
Homebrew rules
I like to use a variant hero point rule that ensures no hero point re-roll can be below 11 on the die, and you'll also have access to all the Team+ expanded character options available in Foundry.

How Indringer creates a safe table
There will be a consent checklist in the foundry world for each player, along with an x-card button for anything that may come up during play. A short break will be taken roughly halfway through each session, and additional breaks can be called for as needed.
