About the adventure
🏰 Bastion of Blasphemies: The Curse of Bastardhall 🩸 The haunted lands of Ustalav have long been scarred by tragedies, but none are as infamous as the legend of Bastardhall. For centuries, this ruined fortress has loomed over the countryside, a beacon of dark mysteries and terrifying hauntings. It is a place where the living do not belong, and where those who dare to cross its threshold vanish into the fog, never to be seen again. Your journey begins with a personal quest: Florin Kindler lost her parents to the castle's most notorious terror—the phantom Black Coach—and she is seeking answers. Alongside her, you will venture into the heart of Golarion’s most feared ruin. This isn't just an investigation; it's a desperate struggle against an ancient, suffocating curse that has no intention of letting you leave. Can you unravel the dark secrets of Bastardhall and break the centuries-long blight, or will your names be added to the endless list of souls claimed by the fog? 🛠️ Campaign Details ⚔️ This high-stakes, gothic horror campaign will take your characters through a terrifying and atmospheric adventure using the Pathfinder 2nd Edition system. Expect a cinematic blend of deep investigation, psychological horror, and lethal tactical combat against the undead and worse. We will utilize Foundry VTT, featuring beautifully eerie maps, immersive lighting, and seamless automation, with Discord for crisp voice communication and out-of-game coordination. 🩸 Face the Terrors of Ustalav! 🛡️ If you’re ready to dive into a rich, narrative-driven gothic horror story, solve centuries-old mysteries, and face down legendary haunts, this campaign is for you. Whether you’re a seasoned Pathfinder veteran or a brave newcomer eager to experience your first horror campaign, you’ll find a deeply rewarding experience that tests both your tactical wit and your character's sanity. About me
Greetings, adventurers! I'm Drewseth, a dedicated TTRPG enthusiast and Dungeon Master with a fervor for all things nerdy. My journey with tabletop role-playing games began 20 years ago, and I've been running games as a profession for the last 5 years, hosting sessions every day of the week. I've built a wonderful community of dedicated regular players whom I'm proud to call my friends. I specialize in bringing characters to life, weaving intricate stories, and crafting unforgettable adventures. When I'm not running or preparing games, I'm brainstorming new ideas to enrich my campaigns. Some say I spend far too much time doing so, but hey, who needs sleep when there are dragons to slay?

What Drewseth brings to the table
I bring my experience and enthusiasm playing and running games, but more technically I will be providing everything needed for a complete VTT experience - Maps, Art, Music etc.
Homebrew rules
We’ll be using Free Archetype, Gradual Ability Boosts, and Ancestry Paragon to give characters more depth and personalization throughout the campaign. The Camping and Kingdom rules have been simplified to focus more on storytelling and character-driven decision-making rather than bookkeeping. Additional house rules may be introduced to better serve the tone, pacing, and political intrigue of a frontier-born nation.

How Drewseth creates a safe table
Whilst there is never truly a 'typical' session, I always do my best to ensure that sessions are as relaxed and as informal as I can - because I find this fosters a much kinder and easy-going environment - where people can be themselves and have some fun. This campaign is set in the Stolen Lands, a more traditional feeling fantasy campaign where the players are establishing their own nation. Over time the gameplay will change reflecting their characters new responsibilities in managing and running their new nation. There will be a 15 minute break around the midway point of the session, around 2 hours into the 4 hour session. I pride myself on providing a safe space for anyone at my table, and I try to make sure that I am available as a person and a friend to my players, not just a DM, and any behaviour, language or actions that makes other players feel unsafe, uncomfortable or unwelcome will not be tolerated, and players found to be in breach of this will be removed in the interest of others. If at any point any player is uncomfortable with any of the content or the experience of the game, they are free to make this known to myself and the rest of the group in any way that is comfortable for them without any fear of judgement, then as a group we would discuss this and how to proceed.
