About the adventure
You play the heroes of Stonetop, an isolated village near the edge of the known world. Adventures focus on dealing with threats to the village, seizing opportunities for the village, or pursuing personal goals. Months or years might pass between adventures. The village itself… …is home to around 300 folks. It’s a nice place, though poor. People look out for each other, here. …is built around a massive standing stone of unknown origin, carved with faint runes. Lightning strikes the Stone often. …stands at the edge of the Great Wood. Villagers hunt and trap but—per a compact with the Forest Folk—never fell a living tree. Together, we will learn more about this ancient world you find yourselves in, with a rich history that will be written as much by the players as by the setting books. You will make friends, lose them, struggle through the winter - And return victorious from grand expeditions. Expect a mix of adventure and slice-of-life, tensions both inside Stonetop and outside.

About me
I have officially spent more of my life GMing than not! I love telling stories with my players, crafting worlds, and building character arcs. The best games are those with mechanics that support this kind of play.

Creating your character
Stonetop has a very robust character creation system that we will go through in session 0! Come into it with some idea of which playbooks you like, perhaps, but no need for anything more.
