About the adventure
Break the Chains: Hellbreakers Freedom is never given—it must be won. The nation of Isger stands on the brink of collapse. Once a proud land, it now suffers beneath the iron grip of Cheliax. Hellknights patrol the streets, innocent people disappear without warning, and whispers of rebellion spread through every village and tavern. You are not ordinary adventurers. You are members of the Hellbreakers League, a secret resistance determined to free Isger from oppression. Whether you're a former soldier, outlaw, scholar, priest, or common citizen pushed too far, your choices will shape the future of an entire nation. But defeating tyranny is only the beginning. As the rebellion grows, you'll uncover an ancient conspiracy hidden beneath the chaos—one that threatens not just Isger, but all of Avistan. What begins as a fight for freedom becomes a race to stop an evil that has waited centuries to awaken. This complete Pathfinder Second Edition Adventure Path takes characters from Level 1 to Level 10, blending heroic fantasy with political intrigue, espionage, mystery, exploration, and cinematic battles. About me
Hello. Looking forward to exploring new games and systems with you all. I have GM’ed dnd5e and a bunch of pbta games but currently playing a lot of daggerheart and pathfinder 2e, also diving into starfinder 2e. Played some free league games and love learning teaching new games as well. I think one of my main strengths as a GM is my patience and ability to teach games.

Creating your character
Character Creation We'll begin with a Session 0 dedicated to creating characters, introducing the campaign, and making sure everyone starts on the same page. Characters begin at Level 1. You're welcome to build your character ahead of time using Pathbuilder or create them directly in Foundry VTT during Session 0. I'll help with both, so no prior Pathfinder 2e experience is required. The free Hellbreakers Player's Guide contains everything you need to build a character that fits the campaign, and I highly recommend reading it before Session 0. If you'd like to use additional Pathfinder character options, I'm happy to discuss them beforehand. During Session 0 we'll also: Create characters together and answer any rules questions. Establish connections between the party to ensure strong group cohesion. Discuss each character's goals, motivations, and place in the story. Review Lines & Veils and other safety tools so everyone is comfortable with the campaign's themes. Set expectations for teamwork, communication, and the style of game we'll be playing. My goal is for every player to leave Session 0 with a character they're excited to play and a party that already feels like a team. New players are always welcome, and I'll happily guide you through the entire character creation process.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
How should players prepare? No Pathfinder 2e experience is required! Before Session 0, I recommend downloading the free Hellbreakers Player's Guide and thinking about the kind of hero you'd like to play. If you'd like, you can also start building a Level 1 character in Pathbuilder, but we will finalize all characters together during Session 0. Please make sure you have: A working microphone and Discord account A computer capable of running Foundry VTT (no purchase required) A stable internet connection Most importantly, come ready to collaborate with the group, roleplay, and have fun. I'll teach the rules as we play, so new players are always welcome.

How Paul E creates a safe table
Player safety and comfort are important at my table. We use Lines & Veils, the X-Card, and an Open Door Policy to create a respectful and enjoyable environment for everyone. We'll discuss boundaries during Session 0, and players are always welcome to step away from the table or privately raise concerns at any time. My goal is to ensure everyone feels comfortable, heard, and able to enjoy the game
